GenVec, Inc., a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, develops gene-based therapeutic drugs and vaccines in the United States. Its lead therapeutic product candidate, TNFerade biologic, is under Phase III trial for first-line treatment of inoperable, locally advanced pancreatic cancer.
